The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a Transcriptionist for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN.

The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We have 11 convenient locations in the Chattanooga, North Georgia and surrounding area. We offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery... physical and occupational therapy and sports training.

Previous experience with information management in a medical office or similar setting is preferred. Completion of a program of study in medical transcription, terminology, coding, and legal aspects of medical information management is highly preferred.

This position is responsible for performing office dictation to ensure patient charts are accurate and up to date for future appointments. Will work in cooperation with clerical and clinical staff to provide efficient patient services on a daily basis.

Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Must be located within 90 miles of Chattanooga, TN.

No nights/weekends/holidays
