Teacher - Remote | WFH

Essential Functions

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide instruction, assess curriculum, and develop new curriculum as needed.

Act as a team leader in collaborative teaching situations.

Develop recruitment techniques, recruit program participants, and provide assessment services.

Record individual and group progress as per contract and professional standards.

Maintain inventory of instructional materials and develop resources to support program objectives.

Participate actively in staff meetings, in-service training, and organizational activities.

Carry out additional training as assigned.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.

Fluency in another language may be necessary.

Valid driver's license may be required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A)

Ability to effectively speak and write, including routine reports and correspondence.

Comfort working with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

Strong Communication Skills With Experience Collaborating In Diverse Teams.

Ability to handle confidential information professionally and diplomatically.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Work Arrangement

This role is eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement. In-person meetings may be required periodically.

Work Environment

Moderate noise level.

Flexibility in scheduling and work location is necessary due to program needs.

Program sites throughout the Chicago area.

Physical Demands

Regular talking, hearing, sitting, standing, and walking.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Ability to provide physical restraint if needed.
