Remote Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant

Our client, world leading luxury cosmetic packaging producer, is looking to hire an Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant to join their team in a remote capacity. This is a 1099 position. This person this person will set their own schedule as an independent contractor, ideally 2 hours/day.
Job Duties Include...
? Support Accounts Receivable including book cash receipts and ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer payments
? Manage reminders for overdue payments and follow up for cash collection
? Monitor credit limits
? Support Accounts Payable including entering bills and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
? Prepare payments
? Reconcile intercompany accounts and follow up on discrepancies
? Track and follow up on tooling expenses
? Prepare monthly and yearly closing entries
? Generate daily reports to provide an accurate picture of cash flow
? Prepare various reports such as pipeline reports and backlog reports
? Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
? 5+ years of relevant experience
? Finance/Accounting degree
? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary: $35 - $38/hr
