What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Process end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
? Oversee administration of garnishments, court ordered withholding orders, and voluntary deductions
? Manage nonresident alien taxation requirements
? Support business process strategies for efficient payroll processes
? Generate comprehensive payroll reports and conduct account reconciliations

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Associate?s degree in a business-related discipline required
? FPC or CPP Certification preferred
? 5+ years of related work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in multi-state payroll
? Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
? Proficiency in using payroll software such as Workday Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Knowledge of California payroll laws and regulations
? Experience in the non-profit industry
? Ability to manage payroll function in a fast-paced environment
? Advanced computer skills, including Excel
? Strong communication and organizational skills
