The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) is actively seeking an accomplished Senior Business/Data Analyst to join our Permit Transformation Program team on a one-year contract basis. Key Responsibilities
? Lead and manage data analysis initiatives across the DEQ enterprise.
? Collaborate with colleagues to develop and standardize an enterprise data model that aligns with the organization?s business and technical objectives.
? Provide expert analysis and support to data analysts, architects, and application developers to enhance data management processes.
? Serve as a subject matter expert in technologies including Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.

Required Skills
? Proficiency in Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server.
? Extensive experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Azure Data Factory.
? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
? Ability to mentor and provide guidance to other data professionals.
? Familiarity with enterprise data modeling and management practices.

Qualifications
? A minimum of five years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
? Proven expertise in database management systems and enterprise data modeling.
? Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
? A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline is required.
