Manager, Federal Income Tax

Description:
? Leads team in developing project workplans and scheduling associated project deliverables
? Acts as a mentor, guiding team members on their career paths
? Builds strong relationships with clients through quality work
? Prepares tax interest computations and explains computations to clients
? Assists with client billing and financial forecasting
? Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
? Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times
? Manages income tax projects, especially in the complex interest area
? Works effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment
? Handles tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
? Safeguards confidential information and sensitive material
? Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements: ? Accounting undergraduate and/or Masters in Tax ? 7+ years of experience in the area of interest ? 5+ years of experience working directly on IRS interest computations ? Experience with tax computation is preferred ? Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft?Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research ? Experience with DMI software is preferred ? Valid driver?s license required
