YouTube Vlog Editor (10–15 min, 4K, Hindi/English, Travel & Lifestyle)

Hi! I’m Prashant — a travel & lifestyle vlogger based in Germany. I’m looking for a long-term video editor to edit full-length YouTube vlogs (10–15 minutes). My content style is: - Friendly, candid A-roll (talking to camera, family, daily moments) - Optional cinematic B-roll while travelling and exploring places - Story-driven, natural, and not over-dramatic Footage & Gear - Action Pro 5 → Log10, 4K (requires color correction) - Phone → 4K A-roll - DJI Mic Mini → clean external audio - Occasional drone footage All footage is recorded in 4K at 24/30 fps. Responsibilities - Edit 10–15 min YouTube vlogs - Sync audio and cleanly cut A-roll - Light color grading (Log → Rec.709) - Add background music and smooth transitions - Maintain strong pacing and storytelling flow Deliverables - Resolution: 4K (3840×2160) - Frame rate: 24 or 30 fps - Format: H.264 (.mp4) - Aspect ratio: 16:9 (YouTube) Style References - Nathaniel Drew – authentic storytelling - Yes Theory – travel & exploration energy - Casey Neistat – natural vlog flow - Ronnie & Barty – Indian travel vibe - Explore The Unseen 2.0 - Sam Kolder – cinematic inspiration (not mandatory) I am open to suggestions as well; there are definitely creators I have not been exposed to, who are undoubtly amazing. Creative Freedom This is a creative collaboration, not factory work. I value creativity and experimentation. If you’re someone who feels creatively capable but often restricted by rigid client briefs, this project is meant to give you space. I’ve been in your shoes — capable, creative, but rarely given the chance to experiment. If you have ideas, concepts, or stylistic choices that enhance the story or flow of the video, I’m open to exploring them together. Major creative changes should be discussed before final export. Long-Term Collaboration & Growth I’m not looking for a one-off editor. I want someone who’s interested in growing with the channel, contributing ideas, and evolving the style over time. If you enjoy giving creative input — whether it’s pacing, transitions, storytelling, or new editing ideas — I value that and want this to be a collaborative process.
