As a Sr. Data Analyst, Customer Reporting, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights for business and product teams. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure accurate, scalable, and reliable reporting infrastructure. Your work will involve modernizing workflows, implementing automation, and improving data quality, while serving as a subject matter expert on internal data flows. This role offers the opportunity to influence product reporting capabilities, drive data-driven decision-making, and proactively identify performance issues or optimization opportunities. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will contribute directly to improving analytics processes, enhancing platform functionality, and supporting strategic business initiatives. Accountabilities: · Lead the modernization of vendor-level reporting by automating workflows and implementing scalable reporting frameworks. · Partner with product teams to prioritize and implement new reporting features while ensuring compatibility during client migrations. · Collaborate with external vendors to refine data exchange processes, resolve discrepancies, and enhance reporting accuracy. · Serve as a subject matter expert on internal data flows, aligning vendor reporting with platform architecture and compliance requirements. · Conduct performance analyses across datasets to detect emerging issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance. · Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively address potential performance and scalability concerns. · Document reporting infrastructure changes, updates, and best practices to ensure transparency and continuity across teams. · Support the development and testing of new data-related features and products, ensuring high-quality outputs. · 5–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience in data querying, integration, and transformation. · Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation. · Experience with distributed query engines such as Hive, Presto, or BigQuery. · Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Docker, Alluxio) is a plus. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. · Strong attention to detail and a proactive, data-driven approach to problem-solving. · Comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% paid life and disability insurance. · 401(k) retirement plan with company match. · Generous paid vacation, sick leave, and parental leave, including adoption assistance. · Annual tuition assistance and professional development programs. · Wellness programs and volunteer opportunities. · Remote work flexibility and commuter benefits. · Employee referral bonus program. · Competitive base salary range: $100,000–115,000, plus performance bonus of $10,000–11,500.
