About the Role: Senior Manager - Client Management We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Client Management to join our virtual team. As a key member of our Client Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing strategic relationships, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow American Express's offer and significance, drive partner engagement and satisfaction, and increase profitability. Business Development: Identify and build a pipeline of charge volume opportunities to increase profit/commitment margin of Vendor connections. Lead contract signings, renegotiations, or renewals that deliver productive and valuable results for American Express. Relationship Management: Develop and utilize relationships across multiple levels (C-Level, Finance, Treasury, Sales, and Marketing) and geographies/regions to identify and execute solutions for growth and share. Results Management: Consistently manage and evaluate business results, ensuring alignment with American Express's goals and objectives. Collaboration and Influence: Work collaboratively across teams to ensure seamless integration with key partners, including Finance, Pricing, Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Legal. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, or Marketing. Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability to develop strong client/customer relationships and lead conversations with senior-level teammates to influence decision-making and obtain results. Sales and Business Development: Proven success in selling-in B2C and B2B projects and drives, and identifying new opportunities to grow revenue and share. Consultative Selling: Demonstrated consultative selling skills with a proven history of negotiating and closing deals and achieving results on a timely basis. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a focus on analyzing Dealer metrics to inform portfolio strategy/approach. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA or Master's degree. Industry Experience: Experience working in the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on client management and business development. Digital Literacy: Strong understanding of digital technologies and their applications in the financial services industry.
