Join the Wells Fargo Team as a Senior Lead Enterprise Risk Officer Wells Fargo, one of the world's leading financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Enterprise Risk Officer to join our Corporate Risk Management team. As a key member of our second line of defense and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and strategic direction in addressing the company's risks and managing the aggregate impact of those risks as an interrelated risk portfolio to achieve our business objectives. Job Summary As a Senior Lead Enterprise Risk Officer, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of our enterprise risk management framework. You will work closely with various lines of business to identify, assess, and manage all material types of risk, and provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership in executing strategic and complex business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework, including the creation and execution of companywide risk management programs Provide strategic direction and oversight to various lines of business to identify, assess, and manage all material types of risk Screen, review, and report on asset quality, portfolio trends, and credit policy exception trends Approve credit transactions and participate in obtaining a reasonable level of effort Support and provide a trustworthy challenge of the line of business credit products, programs, and policies Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership in executing strategic and complex business initiatives Collaborate and communicate with peers, associates, and stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve objectives Interface with internal and external clients, including regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders Essential Qualifications 4+ years of risk management experience (Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Bachelor's degree in a related field Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in Trader Services or Treasury Services, including 4+ years of experience in credit risk management Proficient in all risk classes, including credit, market, operational, and compliance Experience in market, strategy, and brand risk Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships at all levels within the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking in identifying and managing risks Work Environment and Culture Wells Fargo offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
