About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to support our Controllership group. As a key member of our Corporate Bookkeeping team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $28-$30. Key Responsibilities Aid in the responsibility for general ledger and month-end close cycle related to corporate accounting, including preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions. Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform change analyses. Monitor intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and collaborate with intercompany settlements. Track related party transactions throughout the financial year and perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length. Collaborate with the Treasury, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation. Work directly with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc projects. Aid in the preparation of financial statements through the preparation of financial schedules and references. Research technical accounting questions and prepare accounting notices to report changes in accounting treatment. Assist in managing internal and external audits by coordinating requests and preparing status meetings. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: 3+ years of accounting experience. Solid knowledge of US GAAP. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization. Team-oriented perspective with a positive attitude. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: A mix of public and private work experience. Experience in SAP.
