Job Summary We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our GRC team, focusing on designing and implementing automation for key administrative and compliance exercises. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, information security, and compliance, with experience in programming languages such as Python or Go. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, Security Engineering, and Finance, to drive a comprehensive culture of risk management and compliance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement automation for key administrative and compliance exercises, leveraging programming languages such as Python or Go. Challenge and grow our thinking surrounding engineering and GRC, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Improve our reporting, metrics, and confirmation within GRC and with our partners, ensuring accurate and timely information. Advance and demonstrate the relevance and importance of safety controls and how they provide business value. Extend the use of our GRC Platform within the business, integrating with cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy and consistency. Contribute to further improving our continuous improvement exercises, including integrating best practices for GRC frameworks. Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of large data handling and systems integration. Familiarity with various regulations and controls (SOX, PCI, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Experience with programming languages such as Python or Go. Knowledge of AWS infrastructure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Serene Programming Interface. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with GRC frameworks and tools. Knowledge of risk management and compliance best practices. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
