Remote Therapist

Position Overview We’re seeking a DC-based therapist to provide psychotherapy to individuals in DC. You are grounded, self-aware, and committed to anti-oppressive, culturally attuned practice. You work independently while engaging in a supportive, collaborative team culture. Qualifications • Active DC license: LGSW, LICSW, LPC, LGPC, LMFT, or Psychologist. • Experience with BIPOC communities, trauma, racial identity, and life transitions preferred. • Strong trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based orientation. • Telehealth experience preferred. • Clear, timely communication; able to manage an independent caseload. • Successful background and reference check prior to employment. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality, trauma-informed psychotherapy virtually. • Conduct intake assessments; create treatment plans; track progress with standardized measures. • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in SimplePractice (EHR). • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development. • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to uphold mission, ethics, and standards of care. • Facilitate groups or workshops as needed; support quality improvement initiatives. • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, PCPs, and community providers. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly pay structure based on experience and licensure (starting at $50/hour). • Flexible scheduling and fully remote work to support work-life balance. • Administrative and billing support; marketing and referrals provided. • Weekly supervision or consultation included (as applicable). • LGSWs will receive weekly clinical supervision with the Clinical Director. Independently licensed clinicians (LPC, LICSW, LMFT, Psychologist) may practice autonomously within their scope of licensure. • Monthly health insurance stipend (flat rate for full-time clinicians). • Paid administrative time.
