[Remote] Software Engineer Intern

They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the development and maintenance of their software platform, assisting senior developers and engaging in a collaborative development environment. Responsibilities Contribute to front-end and back-end development for our web-based applications Assist in maintaining and improving our AWS-based cloud infrastructure Help integrate with IoT devices and third-party APIs Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces Participate in the development of RESTful APIs Follow secure coding practices and assist in maintaining security of utility data Work closely with product managers, engineers, and QA as part of a collaborative development team Participate in Agile development processes Skills Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) and back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js Experience working with AWS services or cloud-based infrastructure Proficiency working with version control tools (Git) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR and government contract requirements Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Hands-on experience with web application development in a startup or small-team environment Familiarity with Agile development practices Exposure to cybersecurity best practices or certifications (a plus but not required) Company Overview Pitch Aeronautics is an aviation and aerospace tech company that offers drone for installations, maintenance, and up-close inspections.
