Remote Part-Time Marketing Manager

Title: Remote Part-Time Marketing Manager Pay Rate: $100/hr DOE Employment Type: Contract Est. End Date: June 2026 Schedule: Part-time, ~16 hours/week (flexible schedule) Location: Remote (preference for local candidates) Job Code: JPC-1460259 Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Marketing Manager to work remotely with our client. As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the Institute's website with new content and design updates. • Develop marketing materials for events and institute initiatives. • Create and distribute a quarterly newsletter. • Work with writers to craft stories on research projects, events, and other institute activities. • Create social content and manage the institute's social media channels once launched. • Coordinate with GSB communications and partner teams to amplify institute news. • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand usage across all content. • Support cross-functional marketing programs and assist with strategic communications planning. • Perform light design work (newsletter layout, image editing, formatting). • Manage multiple marketing and communication projects, deadlines, and deliverables. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required. • 5-7 years of total marketing experience, including 3-5 years of digital communications experience. • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored to web, email, social, and print. • Experience building and executing cross-functional marketing programs. • Strong social media management experience (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.). • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and Drupal (or similar content management systems). • Ability to perform light design work using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools. • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactical work. • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. • Comfort operating in an academic or university environment.
