JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: is seeking a full-time Data Analyst who will report to the Associate Director of Student Affairs Research and Assessment. The Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data for a broad range of assessment and evaluation efforts supporting Student Affairs programming and services with a primary focus on career outcomes and Career Services. This includes taking primary responsibility for the administration and data management of the post-graduation first destination survey and assisting Career Services with internal assessments and data reporting to support strategic planning. The Analyst will also fulfill data requests using a variety of data sources available throughout the University and be able to make meaningful connections within the data to answer questions about the student experience. Other work may include qualitative assessment efforts (focus groups, interviews) and serving on and/or leading appropriate committees. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s degree (or equivalent knowledge and experience) in Higher Education or other social science background are preferred. Effective presentation and writing skills, knowledge of statistical analysis and SPSS, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are also preferred.
