Keystone Perfusion has established itself as a premier organ recovery service provider, partnering with OPO's and Transplant Centers across the country. As we continue to expand, we are seeking skilled thoracic recovery surgeons to join our team under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Silvestry, our Surgical Organ Recovery Service Line Director and renowned transplant surgeon. About This Role (Full-Time): Our full-time thoracic recovery surgeons will focus on both DBD and DCD organ recoveries. Surgeons will also have the opportunity to receive advanced training through our NRP Surgical Training Program, assisting experienced NRP surgeons and refining critical skills in cannulation and organ recovery. We offer multiple placement and compensation models, including local and travel-based roles to suit a variety of preferences. Our compensation packages include both salary/retainer and per-case incentives, with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Clinical Responsibilities: • Independently evaluate and recover thoracic organs (DBD and DCD). • Collaborate professionally within a team environment, maintaining discretion and confidentiality. • Manage high-pressure scenarios with advanced perfusion techniques to ensure seamless organ recovery. Qualifications: • MD or DO degree • Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license (with at least 24 months of accredited U.S. training) • Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery or American Board of Surgery • Active status in the ACIN Database for Heart and Lungs (or eligible) • Technical proficiency in thoracic organ procurement (DBD and DCD donors) • A team-oriented, customer-focused approach in the operating room Job Locations (Full-Time): Nationwide opportunities available Per Diem: Nationwide opportunities available For more information, visit www.keystoneperfusion.com or contact Michael Hancock at (856) 264-6089 or [email protected].
