Norwegian (Native) Translator & Proofreader – Ongoing AI Translation Review
We are looking for a Norwegian native speaker with extensive experience translating from English to Norwegian to support our ongoing localization workflow. This is a long-term, part-time collaboration focused on improving the quality of AI-generated translations through proofreading, feedback, and terminology work. Your responsibilities: - Proofread and correct up to 15 AI-generated Norwegian translations per week in our Translation Management System (TMS) - Provide clear, constructive feedback on recurring issues to help us build and refine a Norwegian translation guide - Translate a prepared glossary containing frequently used phrases and terms relevant to our content Requirements: - Native-level Norwegian - Proven experience in English → Norwegian translation and proofreading - Strong attention to detail and a good sense of natural, idiomatic Norwegian - Good communication skills (able to explain translation choices and give structured feedback) - Reliable and deadline-oriented Nice to have (bonus points): - Experience working with AI-generated translations - Familiarity with prompting or optimizing AI outputs - Experience using Translation Management Systems (TMS) Compensation: $80 per month (ongoing proofreading & feedback work) $150 one-time bonus for a glossary translation We’re looking forward to building a reliable, long-term collaboration.
