About the position The Managing Partner for Consulting in Federal Healthcare at Gartner is responsible for sustaining and growing relationships with a defined portfolio of clients. This role involves advising clients at a strategic level, showcasing how technology can drive business outcomes, and collaborating with various partners to deliver optimal solutions. The position emphasizes hands-on project work and requires a deep understanding of the federal healthcare sector, particularly with clients like NIH or CMS. Responsibilities • Sustain and grow Gartner Consulting's relationship with a defined portfolio of clients. , • Advise clients at the highest strategic level on technology and business outcomes. , • Collaborate with Expert Partners to deliver the best solutions to clients. , • Manage multiple client priorities simultaneously. , • Lead and build high-performing teams that leverage technology for mission-critical priorities. Requirements • Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity. , • Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred. , • Experience working with multiple IT solutions. , • Experience working with federal healthcare clients (NIH or CMS). , • A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams. , • Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds. , • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills. , • Ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously. , • MBA or other advanced degree preferred. , • Comfortable selling to and building trust-based relationships with senior executives. , • Coachable and open to feedback for continuous improvement. , • Proven track record in achieving/exceeding revenue targets. Nice-to-haves • Experience in digital acceleration and transformation projects. , • Familiarity with cloud strategy and sourcing optimization.
