The Line Editor will be responsible for refining and publishing high-volume editorial content, ensuring quality and optimizing it for a digital audience. Responsibilities Edit and publish a high volume (15–20) of short-form articles daily, ensuring zero errors in spelling, grammar, and formatting Transform raw copy into compelling digital content by crafting "click-worthy" headlines, engaging sub-headlines, and sourcing high-impact visuals Manage the SEO profile for every piece of content to maximize reach and organic performance Oversee the publication of external partner content and sponsored materials, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms Serve as a final proofreader for sensitive external communications, company reports, and web content Act as a "forward-thinking" editor by leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini) as a force multiplier to streamline workflows and enhance content output Skills BA/BS degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Finance, or a related field 1+ years of copyediting experience within the financial services industry (specific experience in the ETF industry is a significant plus) Deep fluency in AP Style Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and remote collaboration tools (Teams, Slack, Zoom) Unwavering attention to detail under tight daily deadlines Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback to writers The ability to sharpen a writer's argument and make complex financial topics accessible General marketing experience and an interest in the evolving landscape of AI-assisted editorial work Benefits Generous time-off and leaves Culture of flexibility and balance Company Overview TMX Group is a corporation that manages many marketplaces to offer investment options to its clients.
