Life Insurance Underwriter (REMOTE $35-40/hour)

Location: REMOTE Rate: $35-40/hour Terms: 6+ month contract Benefits: Health Insurance, 401k, and paid Holidays Day in the Life: · Manual life insurance underwriting to come up with table ratings Provides timely service on cases to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met · Provides sound underwriting judgement on all cases to ensure mortality objectives are met · Provide signing authority up to $1 million · Adheres to regulatory requirements · Collect, review, and analyze applicants relevant history and records · Obtain additional applicant information to determine coverage needs · Offer recommendations on whether or not to approve an application · Evaluate claims for accuracy and coverage amount Qualifications: · Industry coursework/designations (FALU, FLMI, CLU, etc.) · Involvement with local, regional, and/or national underwriting organizations Apply Job!
