About Our Client

Page Personnel are working alongside an established organisation in York who are looking for a permanent entry Level Finance Assistant. The reputable business is interested in seeing recently graduated finance professionals, any finance graduates with 1-2 years post graduation alongside any candidates with a strong interest in getting into a long term career in Finance, to supply them with exposure to a large range of financial functions and duties. Our Client is a leading company within the life science industry, and pride themselves on sustaining a positive working environment to learn and develop.

Job Description
? Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
? Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers
? Processing transactions and reconcilling accounts
? Support the accounting department in day-to-day operations
?... Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data
? Process invoices, expenses and payments
? Follow up on outstanding debts
? Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the team's objectives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Entry Level Finance Assistant should have:
? A strong interest in finance and accounting
? Finance and Accounting Graduates are preferred but not essential
? Excellent numerical and analytical skills
? Good attention to detail and organisational skills
? Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
? Competent IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets
