Job Responsibilities:

As a Paraprofessional, you will be responsible for assisting classroom teachers and supporting students with a range of needs. Your duties may include:
? Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
? Assisting with classroom management and behavior intervention plans.
? Supporting students with special education needs.
? Helping students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and math activities.
? Assisting with classroom activities, setup, and cleanup.
? Collaborating with teachers and staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply. In Massachusetts, Paraprofessionals typically need to meet the following qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred). ? Experience working with children in an educational setting. ? Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Paraprofessional certification or ability to obtain it. ? A strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills.
