Ragan Communications, a leading media company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the team. The Customer Service Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions to provide a positive experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with clear communication, and excellent problem-solving skills.
This candidate will interact directly with our customers so strong verbal and writing skills is a must. This person will report directly to the Director of Client Services but interact with the entire company as needed. We are looking for a candidate who can time manage and work productively in a remote work environment.
What we expect of you:
? Bachelor's degree.
? Must have a minimum of 2 years of B2B customer service or sales experience.
? Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of software products.
? Basic knowledge and understanding of computer skills (PC).
? Excellent communication skills including active listening.
? Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
? Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
What You?ll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities)
? Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating the Ragan and PR Daily portfolio of products.
? Answer incoming calls for events and subscriptions, general questions, provide information and resolution for the customer.
? Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned.
? Notify Manager of any known customer problems. Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers? problems and concerns.
? Continuously build product knowledge and skills, pursue daily on the job training and development opportunities with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
? Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
? Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
? Other related duties as assigned.
