Independent Logistics Professional / Supply Chain Consultant (1099 Role) Company: PUSH--FORWARD Location: Remote (Nationwide) Hours: 1-40 hours each week (as projects are available) PUSH--FORWARD is a business operations network dedicated to helping small and mid-sized businesses solve their biggest challenges in Accounting, IT, and Logistics. We are building a network of skilled, independent contractors across the U.S. to meet the on-demand needs of our clients. This is not a traditional employee position; this is an opportunity to grow your business as a partner within our network. The Opportunity We are seeking experienced logistics and supply chain professionals to join our network on a project-by-project basis. As a PUSH--FORWARD independent contractor, you will work on your own schedule, on your own terms. We handle the client acquisition, so you can focus on providing exceptional service. This is a 1099 role, and you will be responsible for your own taxes and insurance. Key Responsibilities • Provide professional logistics and supply chain consulting for small businesses and independent carriers. • Offer route optimization services to improve efficiency and profitability. • Handle compliance and paperwork support (BOLs, COIs, rate confirmations). • Conduct invoice reviews and auditing for clients to ensure accuracy. • Provide load and carrier coordination support to ensure smooth operations. • Manage carrier-broker communication to ensure all parties are aligned. • Provide expertise on supply chain strategy and operations. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain management, or freight brokering role. • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. • A strong commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction.
