Graduate Civil Engineer (Available 2026)

Arup is a global consultancy that specializes in creating sustainable solutions for the built environment. They are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to assist in planning, designing, and delivering civil engineering projects while utilizing various software tools and coordinating with stakeholders. Responsibilities Use Civil 3D software to layout roads, drainage systems and utility systems as well as site grading and earthwork designs Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as Hydraflow and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary, potable water systems, and flood protection systems Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements Coordinate with other disciplines to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery Engage with project stakeholders and clients to develop designs that meets needs and concerns Support development of report writing, calculation packages, and specifications Skills Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals Experience with CAD software Professional demeanor Good communication skills essential for team-based working Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future Recent and soon-to-be graduates A passion for sustainable development and creating a better world Critical thinkers who embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo Growth mindset, always eager to learn and explore new ways of working Ready to take on any challenge that comes your way Benefits Health and welfare security Paid time off for rest and renewal Global profit share scheme 401(k) plan with up to 10% company match Company Overview Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.
