About the Role We're seeking an experienced Robot Operations Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in the deployment and testing of our cutting-edge autonomous technologies. As a key member of our Field Operations Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our robots in various environments, from urban to rural settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us refine our products and services, making them more reliable, efficient, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities As a Robot Operations Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing live tests in transport, deployment, and safety, ensuring the highest levels of safety and efficiency Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including hardware, product, software, and business operations teams, to improve our products and services Executing and documenting tests to verify autonomous technologies, including understanding behavior, product capabilities, new and existing issues, and added requirements Rigorously adhering to process, testing programs, and checklists to ensure high levels of safety, efficiency, and reliability of our products Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: 2 years of experience in the robotics or logistics industry, or a strong interest in the space A valid driver's license, with the ability to support multiple locations in the Bay Area Comfortable working outside and operating micro-mobility Experience and enthusiasm with live Field Operations for deployment of products, with a bonus for related experience in autonomous vehicles Strong organizational and process skills, with the ability to follow schedules and work some evening and weekend hours Familiarity with ticketing tools to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: Experience with autonomous vehicle technology and deployment Knowledge of robotics and automation principles Experience with testing and validation procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
