Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, and delivering personalized support to ensure an outstanding experience for every caller. This is a remote position, and you must live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA, to be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities Answering inbound calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs Providing accurate and timely information to resolve member and provider inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted) to access our systems and deliver exceptional support Participating in comprehensive training programs to develop your skills and knowledge, with a schedule of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, for the first six weeks Working from home, with the ability to commute to our Richmond, VA, office when required, and demonstrating self-sufficiency in a remote work environment Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers, both orally and in written form Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for every caller Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals Reliable high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable, with a secure and dedicated workspace Preferred Qualifications Experience working remotely in a call center setting, with a proven track record of success Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry Previous experience in customer service, with a focus on delivering personalized support and resolving complex issues Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive pay range of $17.00 - $27.90 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
