About the Opportunity We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Overnight Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team of esteemed clinicians. This 100% remote opportunity allows you to provide exceptional care to patients in inpatient and emergency department settings from the comfort of your own home. As a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist with Iris Telehealth, you'll be working with a prestigious partner - a Texas-based, nationally recognized, award-winning health system known for its commitment to innovation, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality consult-liaison psychiatry services to patients in inpatient and emergency department settings Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients across various age groups (5+ years old in ER settings preferred) Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes Work 15 overnight shifts per month, including weekends, with a schedule starting at 7-9 pm CST Supervise and support Iris clinicians, including PMHNPs, to ensure high-quality patient care Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A current Texas medical license or IMLC certification Board certification in psychiatry Experience in consult-liaison psychiatry, inpatient, and ED/ER settings Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with diverse patient populations and age groups Strong background in telepsychiatry or willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Skills and Competencies To excel as an Overnight Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist with Iris Telehealth, you'll need: Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong organizational and time management skills Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Iris Telehealth, we're committed to supporting the ongoing growth and development of our clinicians.
