Your primary responsibilities will include: ### Email Support * Respond to patient emails regarding medical billing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Resolve billing issues promptly and accurately, ensuring that patients receive the support they need to navigate our billing processes. * Provide accurate information on billing, insurance, and payment options, ensuring that patients are well-informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their care. ### Live Chat Support * Engage with patients via live chat, addressing billing questions and concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner. * Utilize our knowledge base and resources to provide accurate and up-to-date information on medical billing processes and insurance regulations. * Troubleshoot billing issues and escalate complex concerns to ensure that patients receive the support they need to resolve their issues. ### Customer Service * Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally. * Educate patients on billing processes and insurance options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. * Foster a positive and supportive relationship with patients, ensuring that they feel valued and respected throughout their interactions with our team. ### Data Entry and Record-Keeping * Accurately update patient records and billing information, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and accurate. * Document patient interactions and resolutions, providing a clear and transparent record of our support and services. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess: * 1+ year of customer service experience in medical billing or healthcare, with a strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance regulations. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software. **Preferred Qualifications** * Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) certification. * Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software. * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance. **What We Offer** As a Medical Billing Email and Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary ($35,000 - $50,000/year), comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
