We work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient. As a Data Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new data pipelines to improving existing ones. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in ELT/ETL information pipeline improvement and support. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud-based data pipeline development, with experience in Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies. They will also have a strong understanding of data set design and capability, as well as experience working with large datasets and big data technologies. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain data pipelines using ELT/ETL technologies * Design and implement data set blueprint/tables/views * Create and deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations * Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient * Develop and maintain automated work schedulers * Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data pipelines meet their needs * Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL information pipeline improvement and support * Proficient in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) * Experience with creating in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization/development * Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers * Strong understanding of data set design and capability **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) * Proficient in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS * Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub * Experience using Docker **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and technologies * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced data engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [insert contact information].
