Job Overview This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced cyber threat intelligence professional to join Google's team as a Senior Analyst. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering actionable intelligence to clients, driving direction, and informing specific actions to counter cyber threats. This position requires a strong and diverse skill set in relevant areas, including cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and client management. Key Responsibilities Correlate intelligence to foster understanding of tracked threat activity and provide strategic recommendations to clients. Perform tactical, strategic, and operational analysis and research of adversarial cyber threats and groups, including the assessment of current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking high-level threats. Develop and deliver briefings and reports to clients' executives, security teams, or individual analysts, presenting strategic and tactical threat intelligence about threat groups, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the motivations driving their activity. Evaluate and analyze complex, ambiguous topics, build context, and influence stakeholders, including the ability to connect raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagement, and other sources into reports and briefings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network security, threat intelligence, and data operations experts, to drive threat intelligence and incident response efforts. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, cyber security, or intelligence studies. At least 2 years of experience in a digital threat intelligence role in a client-facing environment, with a strong understanding of CTI procedures and applications in one of the practical areas: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, or Recover. Experience in partner management, including leading, installing, and reporting to various audiences, including executives. US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the use, processing, and analysis of strategic (technical) CTI within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities. Understanding of CTI procedures and application concepts, with the ability to advise and mentor new CTI colleagues. Ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences, including the capacity to take complex, ambiguous topics and build context. Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
