As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for: * Providing timely and accurate information to customers regarding Palco services, enrollment, and program guidelines * Utilizing person-centered techniques to ensure that each individual is empowered to make informed decisions about their care * Responding to customer inquiries with empathy and professionalism, ensuring that each interaction is a positive experience * Initiating required actions to address customer requests, including requests for additional support or documentation * Recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to customers and taking ownership of those initiatives * Ensuring the satisfaction of callers and handling difficult or unusual situations with poise and professionalism * Conducting follow-up phone calls to ensure quality and satisfaction * Participating in development, training, and other departmental meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures * Accessing blithequark software to retrieve information and update contact notes and digital case records * Performing additional duties as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor **Essential Functions** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential functions: * Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to interact with customers and colleagues * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously * Strong problem-solving and listening skills to resolve customer issues and concerns * Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering WOW moments **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working in a call center or customer-facing role * Knowledge of Medicaid services and regulations * CRM experience and/or experience working with electronic documentation systems * Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) **Work Environment and Culture** As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be working in a remote environment, with the flexibility to work from home.
