As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving organizational maturity, mentoring team members, and consulting with development teams to ensure platform fit aligned to business application requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical leadership and design expertise for AWS Foundations integration, ensuring seamless integration with business applications • Define standards and patterns for efficiently leveraging AWS services, and lead automation of AWS integration processes and tasks • Develop frameworks to enable development teams to consume authorized AWS services, and lead automation using Ansible or CloudFormation to support acceleration of application deployments into AWS • Ensure Security-by-Design is a foundational component of every workload deployed into AWS, and perform cost-benefit analysis to determine best system architectures • Mentor team members to drive organizational maturity, and consult with development teams to ensure platform fit aligned to business application requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop project plans to deliver solutions on time and within budget • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization Essential Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS and automation • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation; experience with automation tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation; and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in technical leadership, with a strong ability to mentor and guide team members • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional; Ansible or CloudFormation certifications • Experience: Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and agile development methodologies • Skills: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS); experience with cost optimization and budgeting Skills and Competencies: • Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in AWS, automation, and programming languages • Leadership: Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to team members • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Innovation: Passion for innovation and continuous learning Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
