Contract AP European History Teacher - Curriculum Developer

UWorld is looking for an Advanced Placement European History Teacher to support our team as a curriculum consultant and content author. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write, review, and revise content for our new AP European History course resources. Job Responsibilities: This project based/contract role will report to the Social Studies Curriculum Manager and will create materials for UWorld question banks, curriculum products, and participate in product development. • Generate classroom activities that reflect existing AP blueprint standards • Revise and provide constructive feedback on content written by other authors • Validate accuracy and relevance of content generated with other team members • Work with other content experts to identify topics for new product development • Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met Minimum Education Required: • Bachelor’s degree required • Master’s degree preferred Minimum Experience Required: • Experience teaching AP European History is required • 3+ years of Social Studies teaching or curriculum writing experience • Experience teaching any of the following AP courses is a plus: Human Geography, World History, US History, or US Government • Strong knowledge of AP course frameworks Required Skills: • Passion for education and learning • Visual creativity and proficiency creating digital images • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback in a constructive and positive manner • Effective problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail • Ability to think strategically and analytically to execute conceptual ideas into a finished product • Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environment • Ability to organize, prioritize, and self-motivate to successfully meet deadlines • Adapt quickly to changes • Brainstorm and collaborate in a team setting • Proficient in MS Office/working knowledge of IT Benefits Compensation & Perks: • $35 per hour • Work from home • Set your own schedule “UWorld is an equal opportunity employer of all qualified persons.
