Position Overview Our client is seeking an energetic, detail oriented Project Manager to support their New York sales team while working closely with a Maryland based Project Management group. This role is primarily remote, with regular day trips into New York City for site visits, typically once a week or every other week. Occasional travel to New Jersey and Connecticut is required. Travel to Maryland or other regions is not expected. The ideal candidate is early to mid career, with hands on experience in commercial construction, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow into a broader project leadership role. This position involves managing commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful execution. Key Responsibilities Project Management and Coordination Manage commercial construction projects from initiation through closeout while maintaining scope, schedule, and budget Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution Review, interpret, and mark up commercial construction drawings, floor plans, and blueprints Develop project schedules, track milestones, and provide regular progress updates Support RFIs, change orders, and overall project documentation Client and Stakeholder Interaction Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during project execution Communicate timelines, deliverables, and potential risks clearly and proactively Attend on site meetings in New York City to support coordination and oversight Project Execution and Documentation Maintain accurate project records including daily logs, status reports, and closeout documentation Assist with estimating activities, cost tracking, forecasting, and vendor coordination Ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, and company policies Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, or project engineering Hands on experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, or construction trades Ability to read and understand commercial construction drawings and specifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must reside in or near New York City Preferred Experience using construction project software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project Exposure to estimating, budgeting, or scheduling functions Experience in commercial construction environments Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Work Environment Primarily remote work from home Regular day trips into New York City for site visits Occasional travel to New Jersey and Connecticut Apply tot his job
