Purpose of the Role The purpose of an Associate Solutions Architect is to work with customers of IriusRisk and provide guidance around the implementation of the IriusRisk Threat modelling solutions. Identify areas of improvement that will add value to our customer base and share those ideas with the team. Share knowledge through various forms, like written documentation, and speaking engagements. Duties & Responsibilities • Work closely with the Customer Onboarding team to assist customers with initial adoption of the platform • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements, and design tailored application security solutions using IriusRisk's platform. • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and ensure that the team is equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, best practices, and project outcomes. • Become proficient in IriusRisk's software and products to provide expert guidance and support to clients. • Providing training and ongoing support to clients to ensure they effectively use IriusRisk solutions. Requirements Essential Skills and experience • Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical customer facing role • Experience solving unstructured problems by introducing sound, simple processes • Cloud deployment experience • Scripting (Python, .NET, Java) • Experience using API’s • Practical experience integrating security or development tools into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines • Experience with IAC like Terraform is a desired but not required • Experience building strong internal and external relationships • Good understanding of security concepts, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. • Experience reading, interpreting, and documenting complex application or system architectures (e.g., data flow, process flow diagrams) • Excellent communication and client-facing skills. • Experience in the Cyber Security domain • Familiarity with the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) and 'shift-left' security principles Person Requirements • Positive attitude and willingness to dig into problems • Willingness to work outside of your comfort zone • Collaborative and curious approach to solving problems • Great communication skills and active listening • Strong sense of accountability and integrity • Engaging to others • Ability and desire to take action to resolve problems in a proactive manner Note: Being located in the Central or Eastern time zone is a plus for better team alignment.
