Responsibilities: • Lead, architect and develop technical solutions for various on premise and Cloud based requirements, containers orchestration platforms, application integration, including machine learning and deep learning solutions. • Optimize, enhance and support applications in the design and deploy of scalable and highly available solutions. • Provide the overall technical design, pertaining to the infrastructure elements, integration, connectivity, and hosting. • Specialize in the best practice design, operations, and support of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure including Network, Storage, Data Protection, Compute and Security. • Develop, test and automate deployment of new Cloud Infrastructure technologies leveraging agile methods using Infrastructure as a code (IaC). • Ensure proposed design aligns to Application, Enterprise, Security architecture as well as the other Applied Materials policies and framework. • Recommend new services to complement and enhance infrastructure elements to stream-line and support applications development and deployment. • Identify potential and emerging technologies relevant to innovation for Applied Materials. • Implement, support, and evaluate Cloud services, develop and interoperate security policies and procedures, advise and consult on risk assessments. Requirements: • 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in designing/implementation of large-scale private/public/hybrid cloud or virtualization infrastructure solutions. • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering degree. • Professional certifications with 3+ years of hands-on implementation experience in Azure Cloud. • Manage Azure organizational accounts of production and non-prod environments with multiple Regions, VPCs and carried key duties of automation, cost optimization, health checks and builds. • Advanced experience with Automation, Orchestration, implementation solutions using IaC (Terraform, Ansible). • Implementation and management main Azure services in the following areas: Compute, Storage, Database, Serverless, Kubernetes and Containers. • Experience with Version Control Systems and working with DevOps tools such as GIT, Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory. • Good scripting (Bash, Python, Powershell). • Ability to write documents specs, maintenance procedures. • Strong working knowledge and ability to apply architecture concepts, frameworks, and methodologies to projects. • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to interact professionally with all levels of the organization. • Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable.
